Music has always been a strong passion for Jon Dadon. His early exposure to jazz led him to begin playing the trumpet at a young age. With more than a decade of experience in numerous jazz orchestras and ensembles, Dadon gained invaluable knowledge of music theory and technique. Years later, in exploration of new sound avenues, he discovered and fell in love with electronic music, in particular: house & techno. Realizing that his niche in music was live performance and production, DJing proved to be the perfect outlet for his ambitions. The thrill of every live mix and his satisfaction in watching the crowd groove with excitement are what drive the growth of Dadon’s passion for performance.

As a versatile musician, Jon Dadon has ventured into the world of live electronic performance by remixing music on the fly with Ableton Live. Using midi-controllers and a Roland electronic drum machine, Jon Dadon’s sound has become extremely unique, recognized by world famous DJs and producers such as BBC Radio 1 Host Judge Jules:

With his coveted residencies and wide range of bookings, Jon Dadon has emerged in the San Diego scene as one of its most respected electronic music DJs. Over the past years, Jon Dadon founded the artist collective, Starry Eyed Music, LLC, and currently represents a dominant portion of the most promising and young DJ talent in San Diego.
